1 St Rhadagunds Cottage is a well presented, dog friendly holiday home that can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests, it has a double bedroom with en-suite facilities on the ground floor, ideal for less mobile visitors. There’s also a well-equipped kitchen leading through to the dining room/conservatory, a cosy living room with Smart TV and log burner and a utility room/side entrance which can be used to store your bicycles. On the first floor are three spacious, double bedrooms one of which has en-suite facilities. The rear aspect rooms offer views towards the English Channel, whilst across the hall is a family bathroom. On the top floor is a children’s playroom, a lovely place for kids to escape and provide the adults with some peace and quiet.
Outside you can enjoy an evening meal on the sunken terrace before challenging one another to a game of table tennis. Both cottages have an enclosed, 3-tiered garden and when booked together on request, the garden gates can be opened between the two properties so all guests can enjoy the facilities.
St Rhadagunds Cottage can be found in an area known as the undercliff, a unique location between the cliff and the sea which provides a micro-climate, an ideal haven for a variety of flora and fauna, many species of which are only found in Mediterranean countries. The surrounding coastline gives access to beaches and coves such as Woody Bay and Steephill.

LOCATION:
St. Lawrence is a 5-minute drive from the cosmopolitan town of Ventnor, with its popular shingle and sandy beach, where freshly caught fish of the day can be purchased at the marina. Blackgang Chine is nearby, the oldest themed attraction in the UK, and within easy reach are the Needles and Alum Bay. Other attractions include Ventnor Botanical Gardens, Isle of Wight Pearl, Dinosaur Isle, a donkey sanctuary and Calbourne Water Mill, which has a 17th-century working watermill. Osborne House and Gardens (Queen Victoria’s holiday residence), and Carisbrooke Castle are a short distance away. The sailing towns of Yarmouth and Cowes, and the popular resorts and Shanklin and Sandown are nearby.

Bedroom 3: double bed zip and link (can made as twins on request) and bedside cabinets.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES / SERVICES:
PLEASE NOTE: a pre-authorised, refundable, security deposit of £500 will be required before arrival at the property. No money will be taken unless any damage is reported at the property within 14 days of your departure.
This property can accept a maximum of 2 pet(s). The charge is £35 per pet, per week and we kindly ask that you bring your own bedding for your pet(s). Please ensure that you correctly add your pet(s) when making your booking, so this additional cost is included. If it becomes apparent that you have brought a pet(s) with you but did not advise us, we will contact you to request payment separately...
There is no electric car charger on site and guests are prohibited from using the mains electric in the property to charge a car, unless agreed prior with the owner of the property. If it becomes apparent a car is being charged without approval, then the guest may be charged an additional amount to cover the extra cost. OR
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
The Island Holiday Company are responsible for the marketing only, of this property and the owners’ details will be made available to you by email ahead of your arrival, should you need to contact them with any issues or queries relating to your stay, please also refer to your property brochure left inside the property, for further information and contact details.
No stag or hen parties are permitted at any of our properties.
Logs for the open fire are provided.
Please be advised there are several steps in the garden.
Table tennis - cover must be placed over the table after use.
There is a strict no smoking/vaping policy, inside all our properties.
Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels and cot linen as necessary.
Please be respectful of the property and the neighbours during your stay; leaving the property as you found it on your arrival.
A breach of the above rules and guidelines could mean forfeiture of the Security Deposit.

This is a fantastic house and from the moment we arrived it felt like home. Henry the caretaker has been so great, we couldn’t have asked for more. A dream holiday with memories we will treasure for the rest of our lives. We have two Labradors and thsee more

A great house which has to be one of the best. Clean and very well equipped.Everything we needed was provided and everything worked. Evenings in, were well covered by TV options, It would be great to come back in the Sunshine months, were working on see more
